Special Events held in Monte Vista
Ski Hi Stampede- held annually the last week in July. Stampede includes a carnival, parade, the oldest pro rodeo in Colorado, live bands, and many other fun and exciting activies.
Monte Vista Crane Festival- held in March, come watch the beautiful sandhill cranes migrating through the San Luis Valley.
Annual Shriners Circus- held annually during the summer.
Harvest Festival- held in September.
San Luis Valley 4-H Fair- come see the hard work of students around the Valley who participated in 4-H activies.
