Star Drive In- Open during the summer with two screens. One of the few Drive-Ins left in Colorado for a nostalgic way to take in a modern movie.
Thunder Valley Speedway- Open May-September for watching Stock car racing and go-carts for the kids. Only 10 miles out of Monte Vista.
Transportation through the West Museum- located in down town Monte Vista.
Monte Vista National Wildlife Refuge- a wetland habitat only 5 miles South of Monte Vista.
You can also enjoy a scenic hike or picnic in the beautiful San Juan Mountains only 20 minutes away.
